Of Montreal - Gronlandic Edit (YouTube video)

I just saw this video on the Austin music channel (ME), and I thought it was really cool and trippy. The song reminded me of Tom Tom Club's "Genius of Love". I saw that the song was by Of Montreal, who did a cover of M.I.A.'s "Jimmy", and that made it all the cooler.

I'm sorry- this made me feel sad. Do you not believe in God? Forget about all the different churches for a minute- they have a lot of problems , I know. But, I believe in the God of the Holy Bible, and His one and only Son- Jesus, the Christ, the Messiah, He is my Lord, Saviour, and Redeemer, you know- Jesus died to save you and I . Through Jesus' death and resurrection, we can ask Jesus to forgive our sins, and come in to our hearts and lives, and be our Lord,
Saviour, and Redeemer, and through Him, He will give us eternal life. We have all sinned and fall short of the Glory of God, but through Jesus, we can have eternal life and forgiveness of our sins- I think this is Awesome!!!
Please don't think I'm preaching to you, I'm not, I just wanted to tell you what you can have, this gift is free for the asking!!!

Tammie, I don't see anything about religion in this song, except for one line about losers at church or something like that, but there are tons of rock songs that rebel against religion. They're usually not rebelling against religion, but the hypocrisy they have seen in religion. Anyway, I just think it is a cool song/video. I don't see why it causes a debate about religion to come up. Maybe I need to listen to the lyrics more.

I liked the song and music, all except that one line, I'm sorry if I offended you. I apologize. I sure don't want to lose you as a friend over this song,O.K. I agree, there is a lot of hypocrisy in religion, that's why so many people won't even set foot in a church today, one of my sisters included, for that very reason.
