My friend and I were talking about Amy Winehouse last night. I like her music, but he really, really likes her music. We were talking about all of the top 10 album lists around that are putting her album at #1 for the year. M.I.A.'s Kala is also on those lists so that is a good thing. He played the title song of her album, "Back to Black", on his phone for me, but I told him I needed to listen to it on my computer since I already had it in my iTunes library. Here is the song. It's pretty good. I think this version I have is messed up at the end for some reason, but it still sounds good.

A friend of mine recently met Amy Winehouse as she was unloading her Escalade(I think) for a show at SXSW in Austin. She performed on Thursday, 3-15-07, at SXSW, at a place called Eternal, I think. I think she has been famous for a while, especially in the UK, but she is new to me. Her song, "Rehab", is in my head a lot so I thought I would post it here.

I want to find a cool remix of this song, though.
