You can now download the official version of Firefox 3 by going here ...
Mozilla was having some trouble earlier today, but now it seems like everything is running smoothly.
Google has updated its toolbar for Firefox 3. I love the Google Toolbar because you can add little buttons to it that will take you to sites like Wikipedia, Amazon, Gmail, and IMDB.com ...
Download the latest version of Google Toolbar (it will update itself when you restart Firefox 3 or maybe before then)
Here is some music I listened to today ...
Another song from the Amores Perros soundtrack, this song is called "De Perros Amores" by Control Machete ...
I read about an artist/band called Ladyhawke on the music blog, Arjan Writes, today. Ladyhawke's song, "Paris Is Burning", is pretty catchy and it slightly reminds me of Gary Numan's song, "Cars".
Here is a remix of the song, and it is labeled "Peaches Remix", but I don't know how accurate that is ...
Here is the video for Ladyhawke's "Paris is Burning" ...
I love how she wears a Snoopy shirt in the video!
"Ladyhawke" is also the name of a movie from 1985 with Matthew Broderick, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Rutger Hauer. I have never seen it all the way through. I think there is a Canadian rock band called "Ladyhawk", but don't get them confused with the above singer!
Here is the trailer for the movie, "Ladyhawke" ...
Here is "Cars" by Gary Numan ...

My friend, Cristen, is fluent in Portuguese and plays the guitar. She loves the song, "Fragile", by Sting. Sting did a Portuguese version ("Fragil") of the song, too, and that is the one that Cristen is singing here ...
I have had the song, Amnesia, by Control Machete in my head a lot lately. It's a very relaxing, hypnotic song. It is a cover of a Jose Jose song by the same name, and it is featured on a tribute album to Jose Jose called "Un Tributo".
Here is the song ...
Oh, by the way, yesterday was 6-7-8 (and you know 6 is afraid of 7 because 7 8 (ate) 9. I know, that is corny. Anyway, I thought I would post some more random songs like I always do. None of these are new songs. I am really bad about living in the past sometimes.
Before the songs, though, here is a good article on some good Firefox extensions/add-ons to download. The author of the questions asks why businesses still use Internet Explorer when Firefox is clearly a better, safer browser, and I wonder the same thing. I hate, hate, hate Internet Explorer.

I usually try to find an image of the person singing the song, attach that image to the song in iTunes, and then upload the song here so that the image will be displayed. I am lazy today, though, so I am just going to attach random paintings of artists I like to the songs.
The above song, "Perro Amor Explota", is a lot of fun to sing along with when the "muere, muere, muere" part comes in and the singer rolls his Rs in an exaggerated way.
All of the above songs are from the soundtrack to "Amores Perros", a pretty cool movie that came out in 2000 and was directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, who has done a lot of cool movies. I haven't seen his movie, "Babel", but I think it has some of the same themes in it as Amores Perros, such as how everyone is connected in some way.
The most sexual song on the Amores Perros soundtrack is probably "Si Senor" by Control Machete (whose cover of the Jose Jose song, Amnesia, is hypnotic) ...
OK, enough with that soundtrack. Here are some other songs ...
That song is played when Uma Thurman aka Beatrix Kiddo is punching her way out of the coffin in Kill Bill, vol. 2. I love that movie. The soundtracks for Kill Bill, volumes 1 and 2, were done by RZA from the Wu-Tang Klan. He's pretty talented.
Here's an old song that I always thought sounded pretty cool ...
These next two songs are from the soundtrack of Supercop with Jackie Chan ...
Here are two songs from the album, "Delusions of Grandeur", by Hardkiss/Rabbit In The Moon. The songs sample Tori Amos' yell/scream and piano playing from her song, "Precious Things" ...
Here is another Tori Amos song that I get in my head a lot. It is a cover of Steely Dan's "Do It Again" ...
A long time ago I bought this album called "Libres y Locos" by El Gran Silencio, a band I knew about solely because they appeard on a tribute album to a singer named Jose Jose. Anyway, this is my favorite song from "Libres y Locos", especially the part when they shout "Cumbia" (I think that's what they shout) ...
Math and Science is a band and album that came out in 2001, and I can't find anything about the band on Google (actually, I think it was just one guy). I have a lot of obscure CDs/songs like this one that most people have never heard of. Anyway, the album is actually not that bad. It's very pop-ish with lots of cool sound effects.
OK, that's all the random songs I wanted to post today. I wanted to post a video, mp3, etc., of the song, "Galaxy Glue", that is used in the movie, "The Incredible Shrinking Woman" (with Lily Tomlin). It's used in a commercial in the movie, and I think it is used as the theme song of the movie. I can't find the song online anywhere, but I will try to make a video of it for YouTube soon. It's always stuck in my head. How sad!
Edit ... here is the video of the end of the movie, where they play the song ...
Here is a different version of M.I.A.'s "Hussel" (or "Hussell", however you want to spell it since it always seems to be spelled different ways) ...
That photo came from here.
