M.I.A.'s Kala at 37 on Billboard's Top 200 chart for 8-28-2008.

M.I.A.'s album, Kala, moved up 11 places to # 37 this week. That is pretty awesome! I hope she keeps on moving up towards the #1 spot. I have to mention again that this album has been out over a year. Most albums disappear after a year, but M.I.A. is coming back with "power power" (or "powah powah" ... listen to "Bamboo Banga" to get that joke).

XBOX Live people

If there is anyone out there who likes to chat on XBOX Live or knows some cool multiplayer game to play (that maybe I can just download on XBOX Live), let me know. I am markaus77 on XBOX Live, and I don't know that much about it. I will be playing GTA 4 for the next couple of months or however long it takes me to complete all the missions. I know there are some multiplayer games you can play within GTA 4, though.

I just figured out how to send pictures, music, and video from my PC to the XBOX 360 to my TV using a wireless router, and I think it is awesome. I don't have that much of a need for it, but the technology is still cool.

Now, if you could watch the "Watch Instantly" Netflix movies on your regular TV using the XBOX 360 and a wireless connection ... well, that would just be awesome!

I have been listening to "Possibly Maybe" by Bjork a lot lately. I have an iTune playlist that I listen to while I get ready in the morning or drive in my car. It has Bjork, Tarkan, M.I.A., Muse, and some of John Carpenter's Halloween soundtrack on it. I love the part on "Possibly Maybe" where she sings "since we broke up, I'm using lipstick again. I suck my tongue in remembrance of you." Those lyrics are great.

I was watching a bit of The Simpsons tonight, and it was an episode where Bart and Lisa cause the power plant to shut down so the lights will turn off, and everyone can experience night again. They played Don McLean's "Vincent (Starry Starry Night)" as the characters watched a meteor shower in the night sky. It reminded me of Tori Amos' cover of this song, which I have always liked ...
