I read about this free Philip Glass album at LifeHacker. I really like the music of Philip Glass so this is a treat. The free album is called "The Orange Mountain Music Philip Glass Sampler, vol. 1".
Here is the article about it on LifeHacker ...

Not bad!
One of my favorite horror movies (even though I don't find it particularly scary anymore) is Candyman, and I have posted about it before. I think of the movie as a love story now, or you could look at is as a story about a woman who gets revenge on her cheating man. Anyway, I watched the movie again recently, and I really like the song "Floating Candyman". All of the songs were done by the amazing Philip Glass, of course. I would post the image of the painting of Helen at the end of the movie if I could find it.
OK, there are three songs on Portishead's new album, Third, that make me think of others songs.
The first song is "Hunter", which makes me think of a song from the 1992 horror movie, Candyman, by Philip Glass called "Face to Razor".
Here are the two songs ...

I love Philip Glass' score for one of my favorite horror movies, Candyman, with Virginia Madsen playing the unstoppable "Helen" who gets herself into trouble when she goes looking for Candyman(played very well by Tony Todd).
I think Philip Glass' music is sometimes described as minimalist, but it still conveys a lot of emotion, especially in this movie.
Here are three songs from the soundtrack that I really love(the "music box" one is on a Candyman/Philip Glass CD, but I don't think it is in any of the movies).
