My parents and I went to the San Antonio Botanical Gardens this past Friday (October 10, 2008), and they were really cool. They are much larger than the Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin. We almost went to the Japanese Tea Gardens, which are also known as the Japanese Sunken Gardens (I think a scene from the 1984 movie, "Cloak and Dagger" was filmed there), but we didn't have that much time, and I thought the Botanical Gardens would offer more.

My expectations at the Botanical Gardens were far exceeded. My parents got a new Canon camera that is like my Canon SD750 camera, but theirs is a newer version.

I haven't been watching the latest season or "cycle" of America's Next Top Model, but I did catch the new episode tonight. I instantly thought Lauren had a very interesting look. She seems to have personality problems, but maybe she will overcome them. Anyway, here are her pictures from the official site. They're really good.

It's kind of like looking at photos as if they are paintings hanging on a long wall in a museum. Very cool!

I have  a friend  who lives in Athens, Greece, and he sent me some photos he took recently with his cell phone. I shrunk them all down to 480 X 640, and I tried to make the quality better on some of them. They came out a lot better than the photos I have taken with my cell phone.
